2 Day Kiwi Tour

The 2 Day Kiwi Tour covers most of New Zealand’s action across the Western Front.

Day 1 – Kiwi Somme – Flers, Longueval, Bapaume, Wellington Tunnells……. This day heads south of Arras along the rolling hills of the Somme. This region witnessed New Zealand’s first and last actions on the Western Front. From the Battle of the Somme to Le Quesnoy. 100 years on,New Zealand efforts are still proudly remembered by the local communities.

Day 2 – Passchendaele takes you north, the morning spent at Armentieres before crossing the border into Belgium to experience the Passchendaele battlefields. A relaxing dinner in the old town of Ypres prepares us for the emotive Last Post Ceremony at Menin Gate. A fitting way to finish this two day visit to the Western Front.

All tours are based from the old town of Arras. We can recommend accommodation in hotels or guest houses our clients have happily stayed at. Pick-up/drop-off is at your accommodation in Arras or at the train station.

The 2 Day Kiwi Tour runs twice a week, starting every Tuesday and Friday. Other days are available on request.
